David is a native Floridian, who graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, and from the Boston University School of Law with his J.D. He is admitted to practice law in Florida, Indiana and Massachusetts. He is also admitted to practice in many federal courts around the country.
David began his legal career with a medium-sized Miami law firm, where he worked in the litigation department and handled all types of civil cases. He also practiced extensively in the areas of administrative and governmental law, representing people and businesses involved in disputes with federal, state and local governmental bodies.
David subsequently practiced with two very large regional firms that are now national in scope. At Edwards & Angell in Palm Beach, He worked primarily in the corporate department, where he was heavily involved in venture capital and mortgage financing, cable television mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law. He also handled civil litigation, including probate litigation. David then moved to Holland & Knight in Fort Lauderdale, where he worked in both the Litigation and Environmental departments.
During the 90’s, David moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where he joined a small, boutique firm that was representing several Fortune 500 companies in federal courts all across the country in litigation involving Superfund, toxic torts and insurance coverage issues. David was also a partner in a medium-sized firm in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he was promoted to a position as head of the firm’s litigation department.
In 2001, David returned to his home state of Florida to join the Orlando-based law firm of Dean Mead, where he served as the senior litigation partner in that firm’s Melbourne office.
